Hello, I'm Joie Goodwin, the rental coordinator at Northlake Church and would like to share the following information with you. We are proud to be a community service church and happily offer our facilities for special events and weddings of non-members. Our web site contains a few photos of weddings we have hosted, and I also have a more complete photo album available for viewing in-person. We do not charge for decorating or rehearsals on the day of the wedding. If you choose to decorate and rehearse the night before from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, there will be a $100 fee. |
Conveniently located in downtown Kirkland, Northlake Church makes its facilities available to both its members and the greater community for weddings, and any celebration of life or its rites of passage. The interior’s highly versatile lighting and furnishings allow you to create the most suitable atmosphere for your ceremony. A fully accessible facility, Northlake accommodates from 20 to 225 guests and welcomes people of all faiths to celebrate in their own traditions.
The building is beautiful in its own right and doesn’t require extensive decorating for a festive event, however, you are certainly welcome to add decorations, being careful not to damage the walls. We can seat up to 225 for a ceremony and 180 at either round or oblong tables for the reception. The beautiful floor is a tremendous asset for dancing if you choose to include music and dancing at the reception. Our clients may use the sound system and our tables and chairs plus we complete the clean up after the event. Clients are responsible for removing personal items, storing tables, and taking out or removing garbage.
Some of our key selling points:
- We welcome outside officiants and nonmembers.
- We welcome outside caterers — or you may provide your own food using our small warming kitchen.
- Alcohol can be served with proper permits. (Additional clean-up fee applies)
- Our church is very flexible with regard to music selections, photography, and arrangement of set-up style.
- There is a grand piano available — fee applies.
- The beautiful “A” frame church building photographs well.
- If you choose to have only the ceremony in our church, Kirkland has many fine restaurants to host your reception.
- Our Chapel seats 125 for a service and 70 for a reception.
I am a member of the congregation and live near the church. I can make arrangements to show you the church on very short notice and will also be happy to answer any of your questions.
