Unitarian Universalist services are similar to most other churches. There are readings and hymns, often live instrumental or choral music. There is a time for people to share significant events in their lives. There is often a story for children early in the service, before they leave the sanctuary for Religious Education in the chapel. You are welcome to visit and to explore with us. Wear whatever makes you comfortable!

Radical Hospitality – Bring a Friend Sunday You’ve said “hello”, now what? How do we open our doors and our hearts to those who enter? What does it mean to be a Unitarian Universalist? What is so special about this congregation? (A lot!) Bring a friend to church. RE begins today and there will be a Committee Fair after the service. |

Statements of Conscience Should Unitarian Universalists “reject the use of any and all kinds of violence and war and affirm a commitment to seek just peace through non–violent means”? That question, when put to delegates at the UU General Assembly last June, elicited a resounding “after thinking about it for three years we’re still not sure; we need to think it over some more.” Why do UUs find the theory and practice of “just peace” so difficult and thorny? |
