Unitarian Universalist services are similar to most other churches. There are readings and hymns, often live instrumental or choral music. There is a time for people to share significant events in their lives. There is usually a story for children early in the service, before they leave the sanctuary for their classes downstairs.  Unless otherwise noted all services and children's religious education programs occur on Sunday at 10:30am.  Child care is available.  

You are welcome here, to visit and to explore with us. At the end of most services, we hold an open discussion with the speaker. Then we break for coffee and more conversation. We look forward to meeting you and invite you to help us shape our liberal religious community.

 

4 September Dick Burkhart and Mona Lee	Reflections on Earth Community : " Biking for a Better World" Dick and Mona have been globe trotting by tandem bicycle to promote the Earth Charter. This service will reflect upon the state of planet earth and the need in today's world for us all to be global citizens. Through story telling and readings, Dick and Mona will help incorporate reverence for planet earth and its peoples into our spiritual lives.
11 September Reverend Amanda Aikman	The Universe Is a Blessing We begin our church year with an intergenerational celebration of the immense creativity of the universe. Please bring water from your summer adventures to share in our Water Communion (and don’t worry if you forgot to collect some - we will have ample “virtual water” for all).
18 September Michael Gaskill	Answering God's Call Michael will be sharing his own personal faith journey and recognizing what and when God's call was.
25 September Reverend Amanda Aikman	This will be a service on a hot topical issue, with plenty of time for congregational input and discussion. The Northlake Drama Team debuts.
