Unitarian Universalist services are similar to most other churches. There are readings and hymns, often live instrumental or choral music. There is a time for people to share significant events in their lives. There is usually a story for children early in the service, before they leave the sanctuary for their classes downstairs.  Unless otherwise noted all services and children's religious education programs occur on Sunday at 10:30am.  Child care is available.

You are welcome here, to visit and to explore with us. At the end of most services, we hold an open discussion with the speaker. Then we break for coffee and more conversation. We look forward to meeting you and invite you to help us shape our liberal religious community.

Transcending Mystery

The first Source of our UU faith is "direct experience...of transcending mystery and wonder."  This service will bring us face to face with some of the surprising and disconcerting ways in which the transcendent makes itself known to us. Special note:  This is "Bring-a-Friend Sunday."  All who bring a friend to church will be honored.

Fragments of a Vision

"Struggle to get in through the narrow door; I'm telling you, many will try to get in, but won't be able."  That advice attributed to Jesus, is an invitation to find a door that opens on a different world, one in which default assumptions about how things work-and are "supposed" to work-are dropped.  A formidable challenge.  Jesus' vision of this different world is preserved only in fragments, some of which we will try to sort and assemble this morning.
