Winter 2010 Class Schedule

1. Articulating Your UU Faith (Curriculum by Barbara Wells and Jaco B. ten Hove)

When: Monday, January 11th – February 8th, 2010
Time: 7–8:30pm
Where: Northlake UU Church (308 4th Ave, S., Kirkland), Chapel side room
Cost*: Members $10, Non-members $15, Maximum 20 participants

This five week curriculum is designed to help all Unitarian Universalists speak more effectively about our liberal religion and to express their particular perspectives on it. Goals for Participants:

2. Cakes for the Queen of Heaven (Curriculum by Shirley Ann Ranck)

When: Thursday, January 14th – March 25th, 2010
Time: 7–9pm

“Cakes for the Queen of Heaven” is a newly revised 11 week Feminist Theology workshop for adult women. Some areas to be explored are: Why Women Need the Goddess, Seeking the Female Presence in Judaism and Christianity, and Contemporary Feminist Spirituality.
