Purchases from Amazon.com earn 4%–10% for Northlake

When you click one of these special links, you will be taken to the Amazon or Endless site, where you can browse and purchase books, DVDs, and a wide variety of items just as you normally would. It costs you nothing extra. Amazon then sends the church a percentage of the purchase price. The rate varies (from about 4 –15% by product category and number of items purchased in a given month, but it's typically 6–6.5% of the purchase price from Amazon.com, and 15% at Endless.com. Even small purchases can help push us into a higher rate tier and thereby earn us more on all purchases.
How will this change how I shop at Amazon.com?
The only difference in your shopping experience is that you will begin on the Northlake website. You can also bookmark these links in your favorites for future use. Once you follow one of these special links, you will be taken to the home page of these sites and everything will work exactly as if you had you entered the site directly. After completing your purchase, Amazon will calculate how much to send to Northlake. That's it! You won't receive any confirmation that the church is getting money back, and the church does not receive any personal information about you or your purchase, but we can watch the funds accumulate! How does Amazon.com know that purchases are from Northlake members and friends?
By clicking one of the Amazon links, you are taken to the Amazon site and your browser passes a special Northlake code to Amazon. As long as you stay on the Amazon site, that code is passed along until you make a purchase. This means that you must begin your Amazon shopping by using one of the sepcial Amazon links on this website. Once at Amazon.com, you must stay on one of their pages until you make the purchase. If you leave the site, and then re-enter it, the Northlake code might be lost and your purchase might not be credited to Northlake. Also, if you don't complete your purchases within 24 hours, the code will get lost. But you can always start over again from one of the above links.
