Northlake Space Planning Committee
(Formerly the Chapel Design Committee)
The space committee is responsible for managing the utilization of the Northlake facilities, including the main church building, the chapel and the playground with the aim of supporting the mission of the church, in church activities, and in support of the larger community, and financial support of the church’s operation. Utilization includes usage by the Northlake congregation, tenants (recurrent usage) and renters (for events such as weddings).
The space committee implements policies approved by the board. The space committee develops proposed policies and facilities changes and submits them to the board for approval. The space committee also is responsible for developing contracts with tenants, and submitting those for board approval.
