The Finance Committee is a small group of dedicated individuals responsible for putting together the Northlake budget, running the annual pledge drive, tracking pledges, issuing periodic statements to pledgers, recruiting and assisting the Canvass team, tracking expenditures and income, keeping Board informed of financial picture, promoting stewardship, and maintaining the financial records for the church. The Treasurer is a member of the committee; he pays the bills and professional salaries and updates the Board on the state of the finances. The committee meets periodically to discuss the church cash flow and other financial matters. Requirements for committee membership include a good understanding of financial practices and/or knowledge of effective fund raising practices. If you’re interested in joining us, please contact us.
