Building & Grounds Committee

(Formerly "Facilities Committee")

Audit of all property, grounds, and buildings; prioritize maintenance schedule and more pressing needs; keep Board apprised of costs and issues in routine and urgent maintenance issues; submit budget to Board with short– and long–term goals for maintenance and improvements; supervise facility employees — property manager and custodian; recommend to the Board policy as needed to accomplish regular and routine maintenance; designate a purchasing agent and have Treasurer approve expenditures; see that tenants are happy and clear about their responsibilities and keep Board apprised of any tenant issues; negotiate rental agreements with long–term tenants, i.e., Audubon, etc.; and provide items as needed by the Worship Committee.
