Northlake Volunteer Opportunities

Interested in volunteering at Northlake? There are many ways you can volunteer… depending on the amount of time you have to commit. Here are a few of the ways to volunteer and some info to get you started:

Greet people as they arrive for Sunday services. Help people sign in and find their way around if it’s their first time
Help maintain buildings As many hours as you’d like
Help maintain grounds As many hours as you’d like
Office help Help with various projects in the office…usually a one-time commitment
Host a Circle Supper Circle Suppers happen one Saturday per month
Religious Education helper There are various commitment levels here and it’s personally enriching
Be a Celebrant for a Sunday service As many services as you’d like. You will receive training. Be a co-Celebrant if you don’t want to do it by yourself!
Worship planning Give input for future sermons and worship services.
Be a “Temple Tender”
Help keep our “temple” pretty with small housekeeping-type tasks… tidy, straighten, beautify. Contact Joie, or check out the newsletter for ideas.
Serve on a Committee Committee Chairs Most committees meet once a month. Time commitment varies depending on type of committee and time of year. Contact the committee chair for more info.
