Northlake Volunteer Opportunities

Interested in volunteering at Northlake? There are many ways you can volunteer… depending on the amount of time you have to commit. Here are a few of the ways to volunteer and some info to get you started:

Bring flowers for a Sunday service	Worship Committee , Co-Chair , Co-Chair	One time
Bring snacks/make coffee for a Sunday service	for cookies/snacks for coffee	One time
Be an usher for Sunday services		One training session and a few Sundays throughout the year
Be a Greeter		Greet people as they arrive for Sunday services. Help people sign in and find their way around if it’s their first time
Chapel Work Party		As many Saturdays as you’d like
Provide food for chapel workers	,	One time or several… your choice
Office help		Help with various projects in the office…usually a one-time commitment
Host a Circle Supper		Circle Suppers happen one Saturday per month
Religious Education helper	, Religious Education Director	There are various commitment levels here and it’s personally enriching
Be a Celebrant for a Sunday service	Worship Committee	As many services as you’d like. You will receive training. Be a co-Celebrant if you don’t want to do it by yourself!
Worship planning	Worship Committee	Give input for future sermons and worship services by Minister
Be a “Temple Tender”	or	Help keep our “temple” beautiful with small housekeeping-type tasks… tidy, straighten, beautify. Contact Cate or Joie for the list
